ANNE

Anne, a native of Laikipia in Northern Kenya, developed a deep love for nature while growing up on a cattle ranch and exploring the wilderness during her childhood. Her passion for the environment, wildlife, and birds led her to dedicate her life to the study of indigenous plants and their uses. For the past 30 years, Anne has meticulously documented this knowledge, with plans to publish it for the benefit of the people of Kenya.

Anne is an accomplished author who released a stunning book titled "Wildflowers of Kenya and Northern Tanzania" in 2019. You can find her book on Amazon. Anne's extensive botanical knowledge has been invaluable in conducting surveys and providing her expertise to various wildlife conservancies and regions in East Africa. Her discoveries have significantly contributed to the scientific understanding of previously unidentified plant species.

In addition to her botanical pursuits, Anne built and manages her own eco-camp on the family ranch, offering a unique bush experience to visitors for the past fifteen years. She is also an experienced safari guide, holding the Silver level certification and being a member of the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association. With her wealth of knowledge, Anne is capable of guiding clients on safaris throughout East Africa. Furthermore, she has dedicated two decades to teaching Botany to Safari Guides in Kenya and Tanzania, imparting her expertise and passion to the next generation.
